[& I went to visit the graves of my dad's father, grandfather, and g-grandfather  ]
[and to the Talladega County Courthouse to see probate records.                   ]

[We photocopied the settlement of the estate of Aaron Vincent, dad's grandfather, ]
[who died intestate.  Each of his children and their ages were listed in the      ]
[estate records.  See Supporting Files folder, the files named:                   ]

[NOTE: Reference to the flu epidemic above are incorrect.  I was thinking of the ]
[pandemic of 1918 and taking a guess at the date.  I was obviously wrong.  Since  ]
[each of these died in Feb.-Mar. 1901, their deaths may well have been related to ]
[some disease but it wasn't the flu pandemic of 1918.                             ]
