Mother took me to visit ] [them on this date in 1981. That's how they were able to give me the ] [information mentioned above. They went with us to visit these cemeteries.] [ ] [He told me that Marion Alonzo Blake was buried at Mt. Carmel, the largest ] [cemetery in West Blocton, Bibb County, AL. This was later confirmed by ] [another Blake descendant of Marion who told me where he was buried and the] [grave is unmarked. Marion's grave is on a bank by the side of the road ] [bordering the cemetery. It is old AL. Hwy 5, the main road entering the ] [town of West Blocton. ] [ ] [Chester Buron Blake (1906-1978) and his wife, Mae Bell Crider, had 2 ] [children who lived -- Gary and Geneva Blake. I went to school with them. ] [They told me that their parent's blood types were incompatible and that ] [all the children born to their mother were "blue babies" which was caused ] [by incompatibility in Rh factor of the baby's and mother's blood types. ]
