How To Begin Using This Website To learn why I created this website, a very brief explanation is below. Click Pedigree Home if this is your first time here. Introduction My name is Ron Vincent. We must be related. I share this website with my descendants, Kin Folks, and family researchers intrested in the same lines. I've been doing family research for 50 years. This website is how I share what my parents, relatives, and I have found. IMPORTANT NOTE: Every page on this website is written from my perspective or the perspective of my 2 brothers. I'll use the word "I" a lot. The pedigree shows my ancestors. Unless you are my brother, you'll have some ancestors I don't have. Please keep that in mind even if you're one of my children, grandchildren, or cousins. Why I Created This Website I have boxes, binders, and files full of family information that I've collected over the past half century. I prayed about how to share this with my children and cousins. This website is the answer. When I'm gone my children can choose to keep this on the web or they can save the HTML files to a computer disk and view it that way. Each deceased relative I mention in this website will have sources where I got the information. It was a journey of a lifetime gathering these sources. That journey tells its story within these pages. Is My Research Finished? Is it finished? Heavens, no! I know very little about my mother's father's family, the Warrens I'm not sure I could even tell you who all her 1st cousins are. I've researched her mom's family, the Blakes, and wrote a book about them, but I haven't saved all the names in that book to an online website such as FamilySearch.org. I was hoping my children would do that one day. That's one main reason I created this website, so they could know where to pick up where I left off. The same applies to the other records on this website and the records in my collecton that I never had a chance to post on this website. Hopefully someone in my family will one day go over that collection and make sure it's all been safely recorded. So, if you're interested in this, send me an email or contact me on Facebook and let me know how we're related. We'll share notes. Ron Vincent ronv - at - ronv - dot - net |
