Our Pace Family Ancestors

D. Oakley Vincent and Penoma Ophealia "Oma" Seay's descendants can trace their Pace Family ancestry from Oma's mother, Frances Walker "Fannie" Pace.  My lineage was through Fannie's daughter Oma Seay who was my grandmother.  Here's my Pace Lineage:

 2.
Wilburn G. "Hap" Vincent - my dad (1919-1993) >
 3.
Penoma O. "Oma" Seay - his mom, my grandmother (1888-1955) >
 4.
Frances W. "Fannie" Pace - her mom, my great-grandmother (1861-1947)
 5.
Abraham Pace - my gg-gfather (1833-1898) >
 6.
Dredzil Pace - my 3g-gfather (1805-1852)
 7.

 8.

 9.

10.
Richard Pace - my 7g-gfather (d.1736) >
11.
Richard Pace - my 8g-gfather (1638-circa 1677) >
12.
George Pace - my 9g-gfather (b. circa 1609) & Sarah Maycock >

George Pace was born in England.  George's parents were Richard Pace and Isabella Smyth.  They were married in London and are the Pace Family's first Americans.  The first permanent English speaking colony in America was established at Jamestown, Virginia Colony, in 1607. Richard, Isabella, and their young son George were among Virginia Colony's first inhabitants.

Sarah Maycock was George Pace's wife (although some dispute it).  Her page is where I've shared the information we have collected about Sarah's father, Samuel Maycock.  It's where you'll find information about his life and his Maycock ancestors.
13.
Richard Pace - my 10g-gfather (b.1638-d.circa 1677) & Isabella Smythe >

Most of the pages above are still under construction.  Many great stories about George's parents (Richard & Isabella) are available plus many books.  I created the page for them (see above lin) so that, in the future, the stories and sources for them that are available online can be shared from one page.
