Payton (sometimes spelled "Peyton" or "Paton", was the 5th son and 6th child of my great-great-grandparents John and Nicey Hawes Vincent. He was born on 5 Jun 1820 according to research by Marion and Maud Kelly. Payton's next older brother was born about 1819 and died as an infant. His name was also Payton. His parents re-used the name and named their next son Payton as well. This page for my great-granduncle Payton Vincent is still a work in progress.
